investment and trade objectives. We counsel and assist foreign companies and individuals
wishing to establish business in Nigeria, including the establishment of wholly owned
foreign companies. These services include company registration, obtaining business
permits, expatriate quota allocations, tax planning and obtaining exemptions, approved
status, pioneer status, and approvals for exemption from incorporation under section 80
of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, joint venture, mergers and acquisitions.
The firm also advises on Nigerian laws and procedures relating to foreign investment.
The firm works with clients to ensure the safekeeping of internal business operating
information, product or service information, trademarks and patents. It also advices its
Clients on various data protection regulations in Nigeria including rights of data subjects
etc.
Our Firm has been privileged to handle a substantial number of commercial and
residential real estate transactions including negotiations. We are experienced in the
drafting, reviewing and vetting of purchase and other real estate agreements. We have
handled the oversee of every step of real estate venture from Development Leases,
Construction contracts, financial arrangements, Tripartite Mortgages, Vendors and
Purchasers, Lessors and Lessees to the purchase of land and perfection of title with State
Governments, the procurement and Letting of rental property inter alia, so that we are
fully able to preserve the integrity of our clients’ rights and interests.
The Partners have considerable experience in the representation of matters involving
wills, estates, probate and tax planning. This includes the drafting of simple and complex
wills and trust agreements of several jurisdictions. We also have some experience in the
field of Petroleum and Gas law, representation of Banks, debtors and creditors in debt
